Vilate Bolanos
Maid of Honor
Vilate and I met when I was in nursing school over 10 years ago. My first impression was, no was this chick is this nice.... then the more she supported me through clinicals it was easy to see, she was the real deal. Vilate has supported me through many glorious and not so glorious times throughout my adult years. She has taught me how to be an intuitive nurse, strong woman and great mother. Her and her family took Cadence and I into her home for over a year which one of the happiest years of my life. Vilate has been such a positive influence in mine and Cadence’s life I don’t know where we would be without our family by our side. Thank you sis for always loving me.

Grandma Hobbs
You are probably wondering what “Grandma Hobbs” is. Well Gma is what Laurie and I have calling each other since college. I was a little crazy and she was more responsible, so I called her Gma. Now Auntie Gma to our kids. Gma is one the most creative, thoughtful, supportive and hilarious people I have ever met. Through all the important events in my life, Gma has always been by my side. Whether it was having drinks at The Library, holding my hand during chemo, or holding Cadence for the first time, Gma has always been my biggest supporter. For all that we done and been through, there is no way we could stop being friends. Thank you for doing this again Gma, love you.
Anica Bolanos
Little Ani
Anica is the best little sister anyone could ask for. Anica is Vilate’s official daughter but I have adopted her as my own. I first met Anica when she about 5 and was as sweet as can be. She made me precious hand print flowers to put in my hospital room at UCLA. Watching Anica grow to a mindful, gracious and gorgeous young lady has been a pleasure. Our conversations went from puppies to boys over night and every second has been a blessing. Anica now is my go to for help with Cadence because there no other young lady I prefer Cadence to grow up just like. Anica has taught me teen lingo, the latest bands, and how to love and live free. Thank you for your love Ani xoxo
