FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We will be arriving Wednesday, September 17th and checking out Wednesday, September 24th. The room block is secured from Wednesday, September 17th-September 24th. The resort requires a minimum of a 3-night stay; however, you are welcome to stay as long as you'd like! Please speak with our travel agent for options if you'd like to extend your stay outside of those dates. Feel free to arrive/depart within those dates.
If your stay will be short, it's recommended that you arrive either Thursday, September 18th and wait till Sunday, September 21st to depart.
Given that we've secured a room block at Hyatt Ziva, we kindly request all RSVP's to be submitted by October 16th, 2024. In addition to RSVPing on our wedding site, we also ask that you reserve your accommodation through our travel agent. Please note that a $150 deposit is required to secure your reservation. This will help us determine if we need to secure more rooms at our discounted rate through our block.
We chose an off-resort venue, Kukua Beach Club! We fell in love with this venue and know you will too!
An air-conditioned coach bus will be available to transport guests from the Hyatt Ziva resort to the venue. Guests should meet the driver in the lobby of Hyatt Ziva by TBD.
*Shuttle buses will be provided to transport guest back to the resort. Be prepared to party back at the resort!*

A valid passport is required. Your passport must be valid for the period of the stay in the Dominican Republic.

All passengers entering or leaving the Dominican Republic must complete a free electronic entry and exit form, which combines the Traveler's Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Embarkation / Disembarkation forms. The form is available here: eticket.migracion.gob.do/

Airport Transfers
Private transportation to and from the airport is included when you book with our travel agent Destination Wedding Experts.
Hyatt Ziva/Zilaria is located a quick 10-15 minutes from Punta Cana airport!
Travel information including passports, boarding passes and hotel reservations (which will be provided), attire, accessories and shoes for the wedding, swimsuit(s), a swim suit cover up, lots of sunscreen, aloe vera, sunglasses, advil, OFF (bug) spray, sunhat, tote bag or beach bag, sandals, toiletries, cellphone and phone charger and cash and credit cards. Most importantly-please bring fun + positive vibes and let's have a great vacation!

Keep in mind, our room block contains pre-negotiated pricing that is significantly lower than advertised rates. Please Note: Some wedding-week events will be adults only due to their location. The resort provides a free kids care center during the day/early evening hours. Hyatt offers private babysitting (for an hourly fee) as well.
