Check in time on the Friday for those staying at the venue is 4:00pm onwards so we suggest people please take time to explore Lisbon and the surrounding area before arriving, just to give Ann and her wonderful team at Quinta de Sant'Ana enough time to prepare for our arrival.

On the Friday from 5:00pm onwards we invite all wedding guests to come to our incredible venue Quinta de San'Ana for a hog roast feast, summer cocktails and plenty of the terrific wine made at their own vineyard. Vegetarian options for food will of course be available for those that want them, as will non alcoholic cocktails for those who are saving themselves for Saturday's fun.

RSVP: As part of your RSVP please confirm if you are able to come for the Friday feast so we can finalize numbers with the venue, and also if you have any dietary requirements.

Please bring your very best Spring smart casual holiday look... or 'smasual' if you will. Also the majority of the festivities will be outdoors (weather permitting) so expect highs of 70F during the day and lows of around 55F at night, so having a shawl, jacket or sweater on hand likely a good idea.

We will be providing shuttle service from Quinta dos Machados (and potentially Campo Real pending bookings) so wherever you are nearby, you can get to the venue easily for the Friday night and Saturday festivities. 

The venue is located only 30 minutes outside of Lisbon. Whether you rent a car and drive there or take an Uber or taxi, you'll get there in no time and be enjoying the beautiful views and idyllic vineyard atmosphere. 

We will provide transportation to and from Quinta de San'Ana for our guests from Quinta dos Machados (TBD on other venue pickups pending bookings). Pick up time will be 3:30.

4:00pm: Guests to arrive at Quinta de Sant'Ana (homemade lemonade and water will be on hand for anyone who is thirsty) and follow instructions from the groomsmen on where to settle for the ceremony.

4:30pm: Ceremony (outdoors in the vineyard, weather permitting).

5:00pm: Cocktail hour to take place in the courtyard area in front of the main house (weather permitting). Enjoy the live music, drinks, traditional finger food, and fresh baked bread.

5:00pm: Take a break from the courtyard festivities and visit the Quinta's cellar across the way. There will be a complimentary wine tasting of 5 of their beautiful offerings in the cavernous cellar accompanied by cheese and nibbles. 

7:00pm: Dinner and speeches (please state in your RSVP if you have any dietary requirements) to then be followed by dancing and an open bar in the Olive Oil Press area. 

10pm: Quick break from dancing to cut the cake in the outdoor patio area. Lounge seating and sparklers to set the scene. Cheeses and a fresh fruit buffet will also be available 

11pm: If you still haven't eaten enough...Pre-midnight snack of pastel de natas, vegetable samosas and steak sandwiches will be available 

2:00am: Party time will come to a close and transport back to the other hotels to be provided for anyone that needs it.

Formal attire. The only consideration is some of the events will take place outside in the vineyard and on cobbled areas so be mindful if you plan on wearing stilettos or going all in on some serious Cuban heels.

Dinner and dancing will take place indoors so (ladies) while you could bring a shawl if the evening is cool, it likely won't be necessary. Weather permitting there will be cake and mingling outdoors before dancing but we have heat lamps ready to warm you up if the wine hasn't already done so!

While we are not allowing any children at any of the events taking place for the weekend, if you are bringing little ones and need help procuring a crib or babysitting please let us know in the RSVP section. Both venues should be ready to accommodate this.

For those staying at Quinta de Sant'Ana: Lauren and Michael and most other guests will be staying at the venue all day with the wedding party.

We will be hosting a brunch on the Sunday morning for those staying at Quinta de Sant'Ana at 11:30AM (so that you can sleep a bit later) until 2:30PM. Cure your hangovers with more food, booze, and laughs. 

Pending weather, will set up outdoors but otherwise it will be in the dining hall. 

For those staying at Quinta dos Machados: Breakfast on Sunday will be provided as part of your stay at Machados, so we encourage you to sample their delights and definitely join us at Quinta de Sant'Ana in the afternoon if you are still around to relax around the pool and keep the party going (we will be in the Vineyard House as a home base all weekend if you need us).
