Liz and Austin met during their grad school experience getting their full-time MBAs from the Kelley School of business. Austin at the time a 1st year, Liz a 2nd year.
One of their first events together was a friend's birthday celebration in Bloomington, IN. Liz told Austin it was "frat party"-themed, so he rocked a Kevin Garnett jersey and backwards hat.
As it turned out, there wasn't actually a theme. He felt a little out of place, but ultimately decided to roll with it and had a great time!
Cancun has a special place in Liz and Austin’s hearts as it was the couple’s first vacation together in December 2020 - the 4 year anniversary from when the wedding will take place.
One of their favorite memories was kayaking during an excursion, navigating choppy waters before making it to the other side.
