In the fall of 2011, Jeron and a few buddies entered Blue Martini to enjoy a rare evening off. While many praised the Miami Dolphin and his friends, Hannah, a college student and Blue Martini hostess believed the group to be another annoying party that would only hinder her night's rest. Initially dodging the group, Hannah was relieved. However, it wasn't long before a group member's wife pulled Hannah aside to ask if she would come over "to meet a friend."
After a quick introduction, the two exchanged a few words. Although neither could hear due to Rhianna's "We Found Love" blasting in the background, both felt something special. The brief small conversation led to an exchange of numbers. Immediately after, Hannah said, "I'll be right back...I'm going to the bathroom." An hour later, Jeron reached out via text asking, "Where are you?" She responded, "Shoot, I'm home. In bed."
It was a ruthless text that resulted in months of no communication, but a night neither imagined would lead to a lifetime together.

After a couple of months, Jeron and Hannah crossed paths during a night out in Fort Lauderdale. The duo decided to ditch their friends and grab a drink together, but it wasn't long before the two parted ways again...except this time for a much shorter duration.
Days later, Jeron reached out to Hannah. They decided to meet up for a scary movie and a few "friendly" card games. [please note, it was not really that "friendly" due to the competitive nature of both parties.] Nonetheless, after learning they shared several common interests, the two decided to meet again. And again. And again. And again.
Throughout it all, they never put a label on their relationship...both just [kinda] assumed there was more there than just a friendship.

A year or so had past when Hannah decided to head back to South Carolina to finish her final semester of college. However, not much changed. The two remained in contact and Hannah would fly down frequently to visit.
Three years later became a huge change for the pair. Hannah had become a college graduate and Jeron finished his third year in the NFL. Sadly, this meant both would be leaving Fort Lauderdale, for good. Hannah was heading to Los Angeles, CA and Jeron was unsure where he'd be placed next.
What was thought to be an end of an era, changed only weeks later after Jeron learned he was heading to Oakland, CA to play for the Raiders.
Flying became a new normal as they'd continue building their relationship. The newfound distance would not only bring them closer together, but also give a title to their relationship. That's right, Jeron introduced Hannah as his girlfriend...so it finally became official.

Fast forward two long years. Jeron had retired from the NFL to start his own business in Portland and Hannah was still making moves in Los Angeles.
But the years of long distance was wearing on the two and had to come to an end. So, in 2017, Jeron [very easily] talked Hannah into moving to Portland. Although, it wasn't for long...six short months later, Hannah had to leave for Corpus Christi, TX after receiving a new job. Yup, so the two would become long distance, once again. However, this time it was much harder for the pair and of course didn't last long.
A year later, Hannah would find herself back in Portland with Jeron. And soon a proposal followed...

It was June 1, 2018. Seven years after their first encounter. Jeron planned a weekend trip to Pacific City, OR. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a great escape to a very quiet beach town with nothing on the agenda.
After playing catch on the beach, the two drove over to a horseback excursion. After picking out their horses, they saddled up and began on the ride of their lifetime. It was a romantic, breathtaking proposal.
But, it didn't end there. Upon returning to the hotel, dozens on dozens of roses filled the entire room and champagne bottles were waiting on ice. A beautiful dinner at a table overlooking the ocean with beautiful sunset followed.
It was the perfect end to a perfect day and a beautiful beginning to expected beautiful lifetime.
