If you choose to spend the long weekend, here are some of our suggestions for both indoor and outdoor activities in NYC (45 Minutes from the Park Ridge Marriott):
1) See a show!
Top Picks: Jagged Little Pill, Come From Away, Hadestown, To Kill A Mockingbird, Sing Street. These range from excellent drama to purely joyous entertainment...if you have questions Xan and/or Tobi would love nothing more than to guide you!

2) Go to a museum! Top picks include: The Museum of Natural History (Upper West Side), The Museum of Modern Art (Midtown West), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenheim, and The Jewish Museum (all on the Upper East Side).
3) The Jared and Xan West Village Tour: We live in one of the most charming neighborhoods in Manhattan (we're biased, but it's true). The West Village has it all, with its windy cobblestone streets, low rise pre-war brownstones, boutique storefronts, and the waterfront just steps away. If you enjoy bundling up in the cold as much as we do, then you could easily spend a day meandering... Highlights include: Window shopping on the iconic Bleecker street (start @ Hudson & Bleecker) and amazing restaurants (just ask us for our recommendations). If you need a break, stop into the Marlton Hotel and cozy up next to the fire with a hot toddy- a favorite winter tradition- or if live jazz & games is more your speed, check out Fat Cat on Christopher Street! If you're looking for a late-night activity, consider the Comedy Cellar.
4) Shopping. January sales are where it's at (can you guess who wrote this?) If you'd like to explore a brand new underground mall with a design inspired by a giant space ship, The Oculus is a must. It's located under the World Trade Center and has over 100 retail stores and plenty of restaurants.
Shopping: Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ, or Palisades Center in Rockland County, NY
Restaurants: Etsy Street, The Park Steakhouse, and Pesto
There are also options for dining in the Park Ride Marriott! The lounge opens daily at 4pm and stays open past midnight on weekends. There is also breakfast served daily.
