Want to know what a modern Yenta (matchmaker) looks like? Meet Amie Kreisberg, Jared's first cousin, and Weinstein family "honorary cousin" (aka one of our closest family friends...Jared and Alexandra promise they're not actually related).
Amie knew for YEARS that her cousin and Alexandra were meant to meet in New York and be together forever, but her hints were pretty much lost on everyone, until the stars aligned in October 2015 and finally, Jared and Alexandra came face to face for the first time, after crossing paths at every other major Kreisberg event for their entire lives.
They spoke for under three minutes, and actively pretended not to know who the other was. It was magical.
A few days later, Jared CALLED Alexandra ON THE PHONE like an absolute gentleman, and Alexandra decided she would be polite and meet Jared in the lounge of The ACE Hotel for quick drinks. Little did she know Jared was also just being polite, as their mutual skepticism of the set up was rivaled only by their curiosity given this was coming from Amie. To their mutual surprise, they found they had an immediate and easy connection, and when they looked at the time, four hours had passed.
The years passed like that ever since, and on March 9th, 2018, Jared brought Alexandra back to the ACE Hotel...for what he said would be the "First Annual Royal Bank of Canada Officer's Event" (it was a ploy to get Alexandra to put on a dress, and one she did not question in the slightest, though in retrospect the ACE Hotel was a strange choice for a Mergers and Aquisitions blowout). In fact, Alexandra was so busy wondering how it was possible they were the first of the 300 bankers to arrive she almost didn't notice Jared down on one knee.
And so it was that there, with family strategically hiding behind and under every couch and pillar, Amie and Tobi's dream came true, of becoming actual family.

We met in Pre-K, and have loved each other truly madly and deeply ever since. Except for Halloween 1997, when I loved Meredith's mermaid costume so much I bought the same one. Curiously, she wasn't as thrilled as I was to be mermaid twins.
Over 26 years we've grown from a tradition of sneaking "midnight snacks" during sleepovers to midnight phone calls, (because Meredith lives in LA now and that's our only window) but otherwise, not much else has changed. We look forward to retiring in the same complex.

We met at Brandeis University when we were both cast in a play called Everything in the Garden. We played housewives who were secretly prostitutes. What better a spark for a lifelong friendship. I've always looked up to Linnea's bold entrepreneurial spirit and sage upperclassman wisdom (after all, Linnea was already the ripe old age of 20 to my 18). Now we both live in NYC, where we do our part to keep all of the sushi restaurants in business.

We met studying opera abroad in Florence, when the housing gods put us in the same host house (along with 12 other people- two of whom allegedly lived in the attic and never came downstairs). Our friendship started out innocently enough: doing impressions of our program's most egregious opera divas...and it didn't take long before we realized we were each other's forever people. As we've gotten older, we've realized we have some diva in us after all...and will NEVER miss an opportunity to raid a furrier.

Rachel and I were what you would call instant family. How lucky am I, to have a new older and ‘Weiser’ sister whose funny bone is tickled by everything and whose passion for people and zest for life and adventure is unmatched (well, maybe matched by her brother's). There’s never a dull moment and I’m so grateful for our friendship.
