Anna and I matched on Hinge during the fall. Anna replied in December.
A few weeks later, I built up the courage to ask Anna to dinner in Mt. Lookout square. During dinner Anna said, "you're funnier than I thought you'd be." To which I replied, "funnier looking?"
After dinner, we didn't want the date to end so we played pool at Million's Café. Anna won 4 out of 5 games, despite my owning a pool table.
Being utterly spellbound and not sure how to say good night, I said, "I had fun," no less than 7 times.
Little did we know, we had just had our last first date.

Within three weeks of our first date, we both knew that we wanted to marry one another. But neither of us would admit that to the other for a few months to come.
Ryan knew while making Christmas cookies on the 24th of December.
Anna knew while we were having a deep conversation before dinner on the 31st of December.
Apparently the old adage is true, when you know, you know. And we never looked back.

We are very much looking forward to having you attend our wedding!
We are having a small, intimate wedding with family and close friends.
See you in June!
