Our wedding ceremony will take place at 3PM in the afternoon at the Jeanne Vail Chapel located on Northwestern University's main campus in Evanston, IL. Parking is free all around campus on Saturdays and Sundays, with the closest parking lot located directly adjacent to the chapel.  On a Saturday afternoon - the drive/uber can range from 30-45 minutes from The Drake. Following the ceremony, you will have enough time to return your vehicle to The Drake and then uber to the reception space as it is only a 10-15 minute drive if you are planning to drink.

Our reception will commence at 5PM with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres, followed by a family style meal and dancing. Valet parking and coat check will be available. The reception space is approximately a 10 minute drive/uber ride from The Drake hotel.

We will be wearing our very best and hope you do the same!

The holiday season in Chicago is a time to tuxedo-up or wear your floor length gown, and throw on your great great aunt's fur coat. While black tie is appreciated, general formal wear is highly encouraged.

The Christkindlmarket unites cherished German and European tradition with international flair and local charm. Inspired by the 16th century Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany. Chicago has been holding a similar festive every December & January for the past several decades - you can purchase hand-crafted german goods, baked items, candies, and enjoy hot cocoa or "Glühwein", hot mulled wine!
