Taylor and Brandon met Friday, September 10, 2021 by pure divine intervention. Brandon was gifted last minute Orioles tickets from his boss that morning and decided to drive down to Maryland for the weekend to take his friend Matt to the game. Matt, Brandon's childhood best friend, had moved to Maryland and was living with Taylor's high school best friend Zoe, so Brandon was staying with them for the weekend. Even though Brandon had been to Annapolis many times before he and Taylor had never crossed paths. While Brandon and Matt were at the game, Zoe invited Taylor over knowing she would most likely not come after working at the Boutique all day. Taylor was already in her pajamas and ready to go to sleep but something kept nagging her to get up and go to Zoe's. An hour later, in walked Brandon and the two instantly hit it off and bonded over a pickle back shot. They sat up all night talking until Taylor had to go to work the next morning. They both knew that night they were going to get married. Brandon got her number from Zoe the next day and the two have been inseparable since.
Taylor has always loved the beach and grew up going to Ocean City with her family every summer. On July 1, 2023 Brandon proposed to Taylor in front of her family beach house surrounded by their close friends, family and her favorite flowers. Part of her ring is from her mom's engagement ring which made the moment even more special. They then celebrated their engagement at the classiest establishment in Ocean City...Seacrets.
