Our Story
Tanisha and Stephen first met at a small school, Bellarmine University, located in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky. They both entered the semester as freshman, eager to start new chapters in their lives. They traveled a long way to attend Bellarmine, Tanisha from California and Stephen from New Jersey. Being so far from home and having similar backgrounds allowed them to cultivate a beautiful, organic friendship. Little do many know, but Tanisha and Stephen got into a huge argument, which resulted in them ending their friendship. They both ended up transferring from Bellarmine. After not speaking for over a year, Stephen reached out to Tanisha to apologize and rekindle their long-lost friendship. In hindsight, this was something that only God could have orchestrated. Things became official September 7, 2014. Fast forward to 2018 on New Year’s Eve at Chicago's Garfield Park Conservatory, Stephen asked Tanisha to be his wife. These two give all the credit and glory to Jesus Christ for being their foundation. Without Him and the love and support from family and friends, none of this would be possible. They look forward to sharing this special moment with each and every one of you!
