Welcome

Silver Falls Lodge and Conference Center is located in the heart of Oregon’s largest state park, Silver Falls. With over 9,000 acres of lush temperate rainforest, 10 waterfalls, and almost 30 miles of hiking and biking trails, there is no place like it!

Cell phone reception around Silver Falls can be dodgy at times. As such we've included directions southbound and northbound to the Conference Center.

What Do I Wear All Weekend?

The Wedding
Attire: Summer Barbecue

Our wedding event will take place mostly outdoors (weather permitting). We encourage you to wear what feels most comfortable. Sunny will wear a simple, cotton wedding dress and John will wear light linen suit and a fun tie.
Think summer casual (sundresses, khakis, sandals, etc). But if a suit and tie is your thing, do it up. We encourage flat heels or comfortable shoes as the party will take place largely on grass and uneven terrain.

For all other times
Experience multiple seasons in a single day

July in this region of Oregon is spectacular. Warm, dry days of golden sunlight slowly fade into cool, crisp nights. We suggest bringing comfortable clothes, hiking shoes, swim suits, sun hats, bug spray and sunscreen. At night the temperature drops a little so pack that extra sweater or light jacket in case you get chilly in the evenings.

Children are Welcome

We would love to have any and all of our young friends be a part of our special day!

However, we thought we would give you some more information about the wedding so you can decide what is best for your family.

Silver Falls Lodge and Conference Center is set amongst 9,000 acres of Silver Falls State Park. There are family friendly trails leading to waterfalls, free use of bicycles, lawn games and plenty of outdoor free play. This open space may be less than ideal for tiny toddlers, or families that prefer more indoor time. Other parents may choose to travel child-free to take advantage of the late night dance party. Whatever works for you!
