Harrow, London
London
Welcome to the land of the Big Ben, St Pauls, the Queen mother and fish and chips!
Harrow
All of our wedding events are based near Harrow which is located about 45 minutes from central London on the tube or by car.
Located on the outskirts of London it's a quaint, historic area with a slower pace of life. Perfect for long walks, with local attractions listed below.
Heathrow is the closest International airport.
To get into central London the Heathrow express is quickest (link below) but for anywhere else we tend to Uber to our destination.
Public transport is available for all events and is listed under each event. We find that the London Underground or "the tube" is by far the easiest way to get around.
Pro tip: You can use your contactless credit card to tap on and off instead of buying a ticket.
What to do?
So now that we've convinced you to stay in Harrow what's located nearby?
We found a list of recommended attractions below (of which Stephanie has been to exactly zero of the top recommendations). Our normal summer activities include long country walks (enjoying each others company), catching up with friends and pub lunches.
Headstone Manor and Museum
Harrow's Local History Museum, set with historic grounds including a moated Medieval Manor House. Shelein went as a child and
it's top of Tripadvisor's Attractions list.
London Designer Outlet
Located in Wembley (a few stops away on the Tube), a semi-outdoor shopping outlet that gets good reviews on Google but Shelein says it's a bit rubbish (probably because his taste is too expensive).
