Andrew and I met for the first time in 2008. We were in Grade 8 and were in the same class. On our first day of Grade 8 math class we were assigned to the same cluster of desks and that was when the relationship started. We shared a lot of common interests such as a love for the bushveld and we spent many hours on the tennis court.
In 2010 we decided to make things official and we started dating on the 30th of January and the rest is history. We have gone through so many milestones together such as Enyuka (5 day hike in the Drakensberg) and Matric dance.
We continued our journey after school, both attending the University of Pretoria where we both completed 4 years of studying. After 10 years together, we decided to take the plunge and move in together.
We have enjoyed many adventures together such as our annual trip to the Kruger National Park (Maybe more than annual if we can), Thailand, America, Mexico, Caribbean, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zanzibar.
On the 20th of August 2022, in the Kruger National Park, a place that has brought us both so much joy over the years, Andrew proposed. And so we begin the next adventure in our lives.
