There are three major airports in the South Florida area - Miami International Airport (MIA), Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), and Palm Beach International (PBI). MIA is closest to The Confidante, but FLL isn't too far off (about a 45 min drive). PBI is a smaller airport and about an 80 minute drive from The Confidante and for those reasons, we don't recommend it.

Ride sharing options and taxis are readily available at both airports. 

We do recommend cushioning your travel time to and from these airports a little more than you normally would. They are large, busy and definitely run on "Miami time" (a little behind schedule). 

We have reserved a hotel block at The Confidante. Our wedding falls during Spring Break season and Miami Beach is a very popular destination during this time of year, so we recommend booking as soon as your plans are finalized!

If you choose not to stay at The Confidante, we highly encourage staying within walking distance. Miami Beach is notorious for traffic and we would hate for any guests to run into unexpected delays. 

Guests may reserve rooms in our block at The Confidante via the link below. Although we've reserved standard rooms, guests have the option to upgrade their room at a discounted rate if they'd like.  Should you wish to upgrade, we recommend first booking a standard room using our link, and then calling 833-816-4530 to upgrade to your preferred room. This method can also be used to modify reservations from two queen bed style rooms to one king bed rooms. 

If you'd like to make a vacation out of your trip, the discounted rate will apply from Thursday, March 10 through Sunday, March 13.  Please note reservations must be made prior to February 1, 2022. 

We also recommend the nearby Cadillac Hotel. It's just across the street from The Confidante, has a similar classic Miami Beach style, and there are a number of deals on rates available on Hopper, Hotels.com, etc.

Guests driving to the wedding should plan to valet their cars at The Confidante, as parking can be quite scarce in Miami Beach. Just tell the valet you're with the Kaufman Sandler wedding upon arrival - everything else has been taken care of!

Miami is known for its unique architecture, amazing nightlife and diverse culture, but less so for its public transit. Ride sharing cars are plentiful, and parking is not, so we recommend just hailing a ride should you need to get somewhere. The Confidante is conveniently located in mid-Miami Beach so you're just a quick car ride away from some of the most popular attractions in the city. 

There's something for everyone in Miami - whether you're into food, nightlife, art, history or just relaxing on the beach. If you're staying at The Confidante, complementary bicycle rentals are available and can be used to explore the boardwalk that runs along the beach just behind the hotel. 

Gabriel's favorites - Trying Argentine cuisine (he recommends milanesa, empanadas, pizza fugazetta or asado), immersing yourself in Latin culture in Calle Ocho, and strolling around Downtown Brickell.

Hannah's favorites - Having cafecitos and pastelitos at Versailles Restaurant, getting the perfect Instagram at Wynwood Walls, eating Peruvian food, and checking out art deco architecture in South Beach.
