I moved to Southern California in Nov 2018, leaving behind the only home I'd ever known, for greener and sunnier pastures in California. Anyone who has ever known me knows just how much I've always loved my home state of New York, and knows how hard this was for me to actually do! After debating about it for 3+ years, I finally pulled the plug because I felt like there was something pulling me towards California. Little did I know, that something was Jason Shah! We met in March of 2019, for our first date at a cute bar called Neat in Los Angeles. As a fellow LA transplant, we quickly bonded on being relatively new to Southern California and all the exciting Cali activities we'd like to try out. Long story short, we've now been scuba diving together, have had several beach trips and ski trips, and have tried out many wonderful LA restaurants as we've built many new and old friendships throughout our relationship. I am so excited to continue building my life with Jason, no matter where life takes us next!!

I moved to Los Angeles in late 2016 and was excited to start my next chapter – moving to a desirable city, starting an exciting job, and meeting new people. I started to date a little more seriously, and after spending a few months meeting “friends-of-friends”, I decided to bite the bullet and start online dating towards the end of 2017.
I met some great people during this time but didn’t seem to be fully on the same page with anyone, and my quest for my future wifey continued. At the same time, I started the process of winding down my job and applying to MBA programs, completely leaving the door open to move outside of Southern California, which made serious dating even more complicated. Throughout all this, I eventually “matched” with a cute girl in early 2019 who had just moved to LA from NYC, and after some witty back-and-forths through text we decided to meet on a Thursday for after work drinks.
Sonia and I clicked immediately that evening, and we proceeded to meet up as often as we could. I quickly learned how special of a person she is - whether it was through her supporting me during my grueling internship recruiting experience, or her spending all day with me in the ER after a skiing accident (it was the snowboarders fault!) Sonia always continues to be my rock. I‘m so blessed and excited to enter the next phase of our lives together!
