Frequently Asked Questions
Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.
Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless they have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan. Please verify requirements before travel. If in doubt, please get in touch with your local Mexican embassy.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has lifted its requirement for travelers to test negative for Covid-19 before entering the United States. Currently, there are no protocols to be taken prior to arriving or when going back to the US. If anything changes, we will be sure to send an update.
While most destination wedding guests stay 3-5 nights when flying to Mexico, we understand there may be limiting factors. Unfortunately, this resort has a 4 night minimum stay, therefore all room rates are based on 4 night stays. We highly recommend using the last day to unwind and relax and enjoy the resort or engage in any excursions or other activities around Cancun. If you must stay 3 nights, please contact hello@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you.
Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best.
Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.
