How did you two meet and who made the first move?
Our story began when we were both sent to Nottingham for our junior doctor foundation training. We both ended up in a city that we didn’t expect to be in and Ola always says that I “caught his eye” on our first F1 night out within the first week at the Brass Monkey bar in Nottingham. He obviously made the first move and asked me out on a date the following week.
What did you do on your first date?
On our first date, we went out for a sunny Sunday lunch and a drink at Canalhouse In Nottingham. I remember laughing so much on this date and even crying because I was laughing so much and being really pleasantly surprised at how well this date went.
This date was a whole year before we actually started dating officially and the rest of the year between Ola and I was pretty quiet!
