Wedding Ceremony & Reception

2024
For anyone interested in getting to experience Treviso like a local and have more time to speak to us and catch up with friends before the wedding, we are planning to host a welcome aperitivo on Friday 7 June in the heart of the city.
This will take place at Pizzeria Da Pino in the prime location of Treviso’s main square, Piazza dei Signori.
We negotiated a formula of pizza, summer salads, soft drinks, beer and Aperol spritz for €16/£13.80pp. If you are planning to join us, you can follow the pre-payment link below to reserve your dinner:
Our wedding day will take place from the afternoon into the night, and we can hardly wait to celebrate it together with you!
The ceremony will begin at 15:00, so all guest must arrive no later than 14:30.
You can expect to be fed plenty, almost continuously, during the day.
There will be canapes as well as a large buffet immediately after the ceremony with a very extensive selection of local foods (meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan options galore). Then, the sit down dinner will be a three-course meal with a set menu - pescatarian or vegetarian.
The dress code for this event is day-to-night semi-formal.
Overall this not too different from any standard wedding, but this Pinterest board can offer a helpful visual representation of what this can look like in practice: pin.it/4SKCHwL
Important things to note:
1. In Italian weddings, forbidden colours for guests are: white, black, purple, red. Don't wear these colours as a block colour (but they are fine if in accessories, shoes, prints, etc - a white shirt is also no problem, just no white on white)
2. Italian summer days can be very hot (over 30 degrees) so it's very important to wear breathable and light-weight fabrics like cotton and linen. Avoid polyester - including polymix - and nylon.
Please consider options on Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, Thrift+, and rental websites for greater sustainability.
