I live in a tiny house in Delaware. I’m an outdoor enthusiast and senior camp counselor at Camp RAD. I encourage kitchen dance parties, loud singing and costume parties. I laugh too loud and at the most inappropriate times! I like to climb on trees, people and walls.
I love crafts, my daughter Lilly, my husband Jon, my dog Jake, and my cat Chairman Meow. Once I fell down a mine shaft.
I can’t wait to celebrate Kato and Daniel starting their lives together and am overwhelmingly happy to be part of their day!
Adam came out swinging from a Saint Louis basement, caked in stale hoodies and that one pair of black jeans under garden unit fluorescents. Now he resides in Logan Square, Chicago, which is generally so two years ago. He’s earnestly very excited to read warm things at Kato and Daniel’s wedding for a good time and not, he assures you, a long time.
Adam used to play the drums, but it was too much shit to carry. He no longer plays much of anything, but he’s sure you could find something for him to do on stage, maybe shake a tambourine, or when you sing, he’d sing harmony.
Adam really, really, really, really, really, really likes you. He swears he’s a good man and wonders why you don’t love him back.
Born and raised just outside of Chicago in Berwyn. I have two brothers and a sister. I’m consistently giving them a hard time, but out of love to make the tougher, so it’s ok. My other family, the ones I call my closest friends, has included Katie for over a decade. And now more recently Daniel. My love, loyalty, and passion for my family and friends runs deep, and I couldn’t be more happy to include Katie and Daniel in that group.
I’ve been Married to my wife Amy for just over a year now. We’ve got three cats whom drive me crazy! We’ll be moving to Michigan soon, where Amy is from. Soon will be adding a dog or two, some chickens, a goat, and some kids on top! I love Chicago sports, and more specifically, the city of Chicago. I love just about anything HBO makes, except Game of Thrones. I’m the only one that calls Katie “June”. I love movies, especially Rom-Coms, road trips, Sunday’s in the summer, movie popcorn, and pretty much anything sweet.
I’ve known Katie long enough to help her move in and out of 6 apartments. And to have enough silly, dumb, adventurous and hilarious memories to last a lifetime. Daniel is such an amazing person and is truly a fit for one of my best friends. I’m so honored to be apart of this wedding and to welcome Daniel in to make more of those memories.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Brie. I’m fluent in High Valyrian and once beat Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in an arm-wrestling competition.
I am honored to be standing at Katie’s side as she marries Daniel. Katie & I have been best friends since high school. Thanks to fate and alphabetical order, we sat next to each other in nearly every class. We spent 4 glorious years expressing our feelings through the music of Dashboard Confessional and tormenting our theater and music teachers.
As adults, we can typically be found arguing in grocery stores, watching Hamlet 2 or getting way too serious about a Left 4 Dead campaign. I hope Daniel is familiar with movies prior to the year 2003, or he’s going to be very confused with most of our conversations!!!
Likes: Craft beer, poker, Nike high tops, comic conventions, Lou Malnati's pizza and ranch dressing, The Office, Steve Musich and our dog Archer.
Dislikes: Flip flops, plastic lids on disposable coffee cups, writing about myself.

I have never met a Nicolas Cage movie I didn't like. It's probably this fact that has allowed me the opportunity to be apart of Kato and Daniel's big day. I spend most of my day giggling because being social is silly.
When it comes to the people in my life, I’ve hit the jackpot. I'm married to THE Mike Walls, we have a pretty tubular toddler, Isla, and Ellie. I am so happy Kato has added Daniel into our coven of amazing people and can't wait to celebrate them!

When I’m not fighting to dismantle capitalism, I’m listening to early 2000’s emo. The first thing I said when Daniel asked me to stand with him at his and Katie’s wedding was an emphatic “yes!” The second was to ask if I could toast with La Croix.
When Dan told me he was engaged, I was confused because I didn't get a ring in the mail. Once Paulina explained it to me, I was upset but happy and when he asked me to stand at his wedding my only response was "F**k yes!" I can tell that Dan loves Katie the way he loves his 4 AM Filiberto burritos after a long night at Casey's and I'm very happy to be part of their big day.
The only softer boy than Michal that I know is dan. I mean that in a good way because he’s been a true friend to me for over a decade, and when I found out he was getting married: I cried because this poor lady is going to have to deal with dan’s smelly ass 3 am burrito farts for the rest of her life. Totally kidding, but seriously. I may have teared up when he asked me to stand with him, though. MAYBE. It’s an honor and I’m so excited for the coolest, most genuine, and most loving dude I know to share that love and those farts with someone for the rest of their days.
I like seafood and shoes, as my picture indicates, but not nearly as much as I love Kato and Daniel. I’ve know Kato since we were kids and I feel like I’ve known Daniel for just as long. I couldn’t be happier for them and I’m honored to be part of their special day.
Met Dan in college and had been lucky enough to be in a couple bands with him. I work in cyber security and have a love for audio engineering and synthesizers. Dan is a brother and a friend and I am genuinely happy to see him and Katie together.
I’m a loner Dottie, a rebel.
I met Kato on a layover when I was flying home from Poland. She didn't mind that I smelled like sausage and kraut, that's when I knew we would be friends. We also ragged on Dan all night so that was also a dead give away. I met Daniel a couple of years ago at a wedding when he, and 3 other people, let me sleep in their tent. We've been friends ever since. I can't wait for Kato to join our week long burrito benders. The bidet in our house is now for her too.
Payton is Zoey's twin sister and Katie's niece. Payton loves: licking people, construction cars, legos, superheros (her favs are the flash, the hulk, and spiderman) princesses, and running outside
Zoey is Payton's twin sister and Katie's niece. Zoey loves: Snuggles, reading books, super heros (especially Batman, Wonder Woman, and Spiderman), princesses, and wearing dresses.
Kaylee is a seven-year-old first grader. She is Uncle Dan's niece.
Kaylee loves cats, volleyball, crafting, and playing with her family.
She can often be found digging the cat out from under the bed or hanging upside down on the monkey bars.
Maddie is an eight-year-old, third grader. She is Uncle Dan's oldest niece. Maddie loves cats, Legos and sports. She can most often be found reading or sending a wicked left-handed serve over a volleyball net.
Linnea is Uncle Dan's niece! She will be 5 in September. Her interests are dancing, princesses, mermaids and fish.
It was a warm day in July when I took the pledge to become an internet minister. I remember it vividly because my apartment was super hot and so was the computer as it sat atop my lap. Why did I commit my life to such an institution as the Universal Life Church? Because everyone deserves to have an awkward but charming friend talk-sob through the legalities of marriage. They deserve to have someone who thinks about metaphors for sodium and love while eating Pizza Pringles (sodium makes your heart swell, as does love. Nailed it). I am excited for Katherine and Daniel to share their lives like I share mine with my sweet baby angel of a husband, Jeffrey. I just read this to him and he said “Not bad.” <3
Bobby was born in a steel factory in Cleveland in the summer of ‘82, doomed to a life of
Midwestern toil and grind. While not a traditional upbringing, he was trained in the black arts,
impervious to death, imbued with the power of his ancestors through folk chants. Seeking
refuge from the sludgy mire of Northeast Ohio, and drawn to noise of a post-industrial Chicago,
Bobby moved westward for a nü life. Falling into a motley crew of vikings living out of 3120, he was
hardened to the speedy pace and heavy demands of big-city living through repeated thrashings in
extreme volleyball. No worse for the wear from over a decade of friendship with Katie, though his
gray hair may suggest otherwise, Bobby’s blackened, dead heart could not feel more grateful to be a
part of Daniel and Katie’s future.

Interests include riding bikes, watching baseball, drinking vodka la croixs, playing poker poorly, porch/ hammock hangs, waiting for revolution, pondering alien life, and trying to find a balance between helping others and partying my ass off.
