La Lonja
Just across the square from Central Market you find La Lonja, the 15th-century silk exchange, which is one of the best examples of Gothic civil architecture in Europe and has World Heritage status.
Cathedral & Micalet
Visit the cathedral and its 3 entrances -Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque. Inside, see paintings by artists including Goya and a chalice purported to be the actual Holy Grail.
It is worth climbing the Micalet belltower for panoramic views across the city to the sea and countryside.
Mercado de Colón
One of the most iconic examples of Valencian art nouveau listed as a National Monument. It now houses cafés, restaurants and shops.

Turia Gardens
Walk or cycle through the Turia Gardens, the park that curves around the city, following the course of the river that was diverted following flooding in the 1950s.

City of Arts and Sciences
The spectacular City of Arts and Sciences is a vast sculptural white complex designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela.
The complex includes the opera house, planetarium, science museum and the Oceanogràfic marine park.
Cabanyal-Canyabelar Neighbourhood
The old fishermen’s district with a grid of narrow streets lined with tiny houses with colourful tiled façades.
Located next to the beach and La Malvarrosa.

Malvarrosa Beach
The Malvarrosa Beach in Valencia is a fine, gold-sanded beach that is always lively with local residents as well as tourists. It has great beachfront restaurants, bars, and shops that run along the beachside boardwalk.
Casa Navarro and Casa Carmela both are located here.
America´s Cup
Valencia was selected as the host city of the 32nd America's Cup and has a superb harbor with state-of-the-art marina as its legacy. Today you can find numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
La Marítima is located here.
Albufera National Park
Where the Bomba rice is grown and where the Paella was created. L´Establiment is excellent for lunch (as modelled).
Of course the wedding is located in the Albufera National Park, but is a lovely place to visit and dine for lunch on the Sunday if you don´t mind a 30 min drive or 2 hour bike ride for the adventurous.
