We have a a set of rooms reserved at the Hyatt Regency Monterey for a discounted rate. See our Travel & Stay page for booking information.

Is everyone welcome at the BBQ and farewell brunch?

Yes! Please be sure to RSVP to these events on our website by May 23, 2023 if you plan to attend. Thanks for understanding that these events are adults only.

What kind of weather should I expect?

Central coast California has its own unique microclimates. Don't be surprised if it's gray and gloomy at the coast. It's usually not warm enough for sunbathing and swimming at the beach. The ocean is cold! However, if you travel further inland just a few miles to Carmel Valley, or at the Holly Farm, it tends to be sunnier and warmer. Layers, including a jacket or shawl, at night will keep you warm as temps drop 10-20 degrees after the sun goes down. In general it's warm in the sun, and cool in the shade. We'll have heaters at the Holly Farm to keep folks comfortable if needed.

What else should we see when we are in California?

Extend your stay by exploring San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma wine country, road tripping down Highway 1 to Big Sur, or traveling inland to Yosemite National Park.
