Plugs/Power - Great news! Avani has international power plugs so no need to get a converter for the trip.
Getting Cash - We suggest getting cash out at the airport but don't worry, there are plenty of ATM's across the island. You will need cash for small businesses specifically taxi's across the trip. Please note the transaction fee can be close to $10AUD/£5GBP however so we suggest getting one large cash withdrawal.
Things you may need cash for: Boat insurance on day 2 (250THB), sun lounger on day 2 (50THB), Taxis (fits 4-6, 800-1000THB one way), food / drinks outside of hotel, shopping, etc. Please note that anything you purchase at Avani can be added to your room number and settled when you check out.
Moving around the island - Speak to Avani regarding Scooter booking if you would like your own vehicle, otherwise taxis are your best bet. Avani is quite remote so expect to pay 500-1000THB per trip to any of the key spots around the island from there. We have made some buddies on trips so best to contact Mr.Poom for your transport bookings (Whatsapp +66(0)81-4939334) and mention you are part of our wedding for good prices.
Childcare - Hotel staff will take care of your child in your own room for the time requested. If you would like to use these services, please let the staff on reception know when you check in so they can arrange this for you.
