Ophelia and Dom will be married in the home of Ophelia's great-great grandparents who built the Villa Sant'Andrea in 1919. It was also the house in which her mother, Antonia, grew up and as such has a very special significance for the whole family.
Ophelia will be following in the footsteps of her great grandmother, Gwendoline, who got married at The Villa Sant'Andrea in 1936.
Fun fact...During the making of The Godfather films both Al Pacino and Robert de Niro stayed at the Villa Sant'Andrea for many weeks. Francis Ford Coppola was also a guest and recently sent an email to Dickie Manley (Ophelia's grandfather) on his 80th birthday remembering their stay with great fondness.
