Johnpaul Hassan
Best man
Ogochuks Ogochuks has been my best friend for over five years. I met him in Estevan when he returned back from the UK after completing his university education and he joined MNP, the accounting firm which I was working with at that time.
We both share the love for good food (like Chinese food, chicken wings, grilled fish and roasted corn), fun road trips, and great sports like soccer, basketball and football.
Ogochuks has a humorous and electrifying personality, there is never a dull moment hanging out with him. I call him the life of a party, as he stands out from the others.
We bounded so easily both at work and outside work. Ogochuks is a loyal brother who never leaves you hanging and stays in touch in every chapter of our friendship over the years. As you join together with your wife to become one flesh, I pray for God’s marital blessings upon your new home which include love, peace, joy, fruitfulness and other heavenly blessings.

My name is Ify Abii-Ndoh. I have been friends with Seyi for basically as long as I could remember, and through her I got to meet Ogo. I must say that it has truly been beautiful becoming friends with Ogo, and they are without question my absolute favorite couple.

Some of my fondest memories with Seyi and Ogo include just having long conversations over wings, and both doing their utmost to convince me to find someone and also settle down – however I don't think I'm quite ready for that level of unhappiness yet. I only half joke.

Ogo is a wonderful man, and I think he will make an even better husband. He is sincere, he is steadfast in his faith, he is gentle, and he laughs easily; these traits will only help to serve him in his married life.

I wish these two the absolute best that the good Lord has to offer, and I cannot wait to start coaching their son in soccer.

Phil is a massive football (soccer) enthusiast who aspires to someday win the English premier league trophy as a coach.

As colleagues at SLGA, Ogo and I quickly developed a cordial friendship and spent our coffee breaks discussing football amongst other things.
We have enjoyed memorable moments on the tennis court and some nice home-made Nigerian meals before Covid sadly halted our fun!.

Ogo is a very humble guy, always helpful and selfless. Simply put, he is a star!

Congratulations on one of the most special days of your life! Best of luck for a happy and prosperous marriage to two people who truly deserve each other.

I met Ogo through my sister, we became closer through family game nights and just general errand runs.

My favourite memory would probably be when we played chess for the first time and I’m basically just waiting for the opportunity to beat him in a game.

Ogo is a charismatic and outgoing person always willing to try and lighten any mood.

I wish you and my sister a long and prosperous marriage and life together and pray that you two will accomplish victory in all things you do together.

Maid of Honor
Seyi hates to admit it, but she totally famzed me when we first met in some random hallway at the UofR, but she needed some spice and clownery in her life, and I was happy to deliver. Jokes aside, Seyi and I couldn’t be more different, but perhaps that is what makes her such a vital part of my life and I’m so blessed to be a part of her life’s journey.
We don’t get to see each other often but it’s always a good time when we do. We laugh A LOT. However, her engagement night was definitely a tear-jerker for me, it was an honour to witness that so that wins hands down.
Seyi is loyal, adventurous, driven and a woman of unsinkable faith. I don’t know how she makes time to run her business, work, maintain relationships and care for her family. Girl, please cut soap for me.
Seyi, Ogo, my heart is bursting with excitement at all the future holds for you both. I pray that your bond will continue to wax stronger as you begin a new chapter of your lives together. May joy and peace continue to surround you both, and all your desires come to fruition. Congratulations again!

Seyi and I met on a very good day under the fake winter sun at the University of Regina in 2015. Our friendship grew so fast and honestly it’s been amazing. We fight like friends should but the love is always there. We have grown to always be there for each other especially when it comes to our prayer lives. Honestly Ogo you have a good one by your side.
Seyi is funny and she is always stealing my slangs but I actually loved that about us. She is nothing short of amazing and super caring.
My best memories with Seyi are all the trips we took together. There were always so memorable.
I pray that Seyi and Ogo experience nothing but God’s goodness as they start their new home. May you both experience God’s blessing to the fullest capacity. Amen. Love you both ❤️

We met at Regina beach summer of 2009. We clicked from there along with two other girls. After we met, we started going to the same Church, and hanging out together in our little group. We had sleepovers basically whenever we got the chance. We weren’t working at that time so we had all summer for maybe 3-4 years to enjoy each other company and learn more about each other. Our old facebook feed tell the tales.
She visited me twice when I was living alone in a very small town, and one of those times was my birthday. I thought I would spend my birthday alone, but there was she at my door step. I was really touched and grateful she took the time to visit me and celebrate with me. I was full with joy that day.
Seyi is one of the strongest people I know, and she is extremely determined. What I love most about Seyi is how she speaks, and when she speaks, I tell you, the room listens because she speaks with authority and wisdom. It is unreal.
I pray you two have a long and abundant married live that’s full with God, love, blessings, money, promotion, strength and more. You both have come this far together, I am sure you can get through anything and everything together.
Also I want to thank and appreciate Ogo for being a rock and a constant for Seyi. Of course also for being her BAE!!! You are truly honoured and blessed to get hitched to our God-sent Seyi. I wish you both happiness in your married life and the adventures ahead.
Love you two

Honestly, I don’t quite remember how I met remember Seyi but what I do remember is in 2018, we worked in Dynamite together and she ALWAYS had my back. We would intentionally make sales for the store but annoy our superiors at the same time. Good times, good times.

Awww we have sooo many. Seyi was always there for me everytime!!! I would say our best memories were usually when she had parties. She’s always litty!!

I love how Seyi is blunt. Yes, I said it with my full chest. I love her honesty and although sometimes its a bit too much, I love that. I love how she’s wise with giving counsel. She’s been one of the few people I can trust on any matter. I love that about her. I love her beauty and how silly she acts sometimes. Seyi is an amazing soul and I’m over blessed to have her as a friend

I remember when she told me about Ogo and how happy she sounded. I remember telling her, I feel
peace about this sis. I told her “he’s it o”. I knew they both deserved one another and its beautiful how far they’ve both come in their relationship.
Ogo, please good care of my sister’s heart. Continue to lead her in the way of the Lord. As annoying as she could be, turn the other way and love her. Seyi, please care for our inlaw o! Honour and respect him always. You’ve found an amazing man and I know it’s only getting better from here.

I pray for God’s blessing upon you both! I pray you never lack any good thing! God will strengthen your love always and I pray your generation is blessed because of this union.
I love you both and let’s turn up biko!

I met Shay through mutual friends in our first year of university. I don’t remember the exact details, but I remember feeling this infinity towards her, felt like we had been friends for many years already. I remember how we naturally clicked and were drawn to each other. Ever since then, our relationship has advanced with ease, we have gone on to do other things but have managed to maintain the friendship.
One of my best memories of Shay is from back in our early years of University where we would be in the bathroom for hours, listening to music, dancing and doing each other’s makeup. Great times! I love that Shay is a woman of God, she is responsible and so disciplined. Through our friendship Shay has always inspired me to be a better person. Shay’s energy! My love Shay I adore how you light up every room we’ve ever walked in together. I pray that God blesses your union and that the lord continues to guide both of you through all that you do.❤️

Ella introduced Seyi to me back in 2015 ( phew! that’s like ages ago) and honestly I feel like we clicked because we both have outgoing personalities!
To all those beautiful memories of all the trips and the endless sleepovers
It’s has been simply amazing watching her grow into the woman she is right now!
I remember the first day Seyi and Ogo met ( yes I was there!) and on our ride back home she kept on saying “there’s something about that one” and we are friends were like yes babe! Go for it!
I’m glad I get to experience her beautiful day with her and la boo!
Seyi keep on being the hardworking and courageous woman you are and my prayers for you is that you and hubby are blessed with a beautiful home. laughter shall never depart from your mouths and joy over flow everyday! Amen!

I met Seyi at the University of Regina and we have stayed friends even after graduation.
I had always seen Seyi around I just didn’t know how amazing she was yet. We had a few mutual friends and ran into each other at events but we just didn’t hang out one on one until she showed up in my room on my birthday in 2017 that really meant a lot to me and I knew then that I had to be more intentional about being a good friend to her and she makes that so easy.
Seyi is an amazing person, you don’t need to be her close friend to see this. She is reliable, fun and very thoughtful. I admire the way she loves God. Ogo is a lucky man to have Seyi for a partner.
So I pray Ogo and Seyi have the life they have always wanted together. I pray they have quintuplets…yaaaaaas! I wish them the very best in life and I also pray that they grow old together, till the wheels fall off!

I had seen Seyi around a few times when I still lived in Regina but I didn’t properly get introduced to her till 2017 by my roommate at the time. When we first met I found her annoying because she talked too much, we started spending more time together and somehow became friends. I don’t even know how the friendship started but we’ve been friends ever since.
I have a few but my number one has to be being present on the day Seyi and Ogo got engaged, if you know Seyi you’ll know she likes to ruin her surprises but we still managed to surprise her small. Another experience that stands out to me is when we got chased by someone in the subway, it was scary at the time but now I randomly think about it and just laugh.
Seyi is very supportive and always willing to go above and beyond for her loved ones.
I pray that you’ll both have a long, happy and fruitful marriage.
