Natasha was born in New Jersey and brought up in Newton, Massachusetts by her parents Anjali & Satish Tyagi. Natasha as an only child loved having her grandmother, uncles, aunts, and cousins close by in Newton and Weston. Natasha is and always has been a very family oriented person.
Raj (Neeraj) was born in India, and moved to the US when he was 5 years old with his brother, Kush, and parents Shalini and Avnish Sharma. With lots of his aunts, uncles, and cousins residing in Lexington and Cambridge, Raj always felt the love of a his huge punjabi family.
As many of you know, Raj and Natasha had never met or knew each other even though they both grew up in Boston, MA.
Even though their families are both Sai Baba followers....they STILL had never met or crossed paths (even though some of their friends had).
Well, after matching on an indian dating app, Raj and Natasha decided to go on a dinner date on New Years Eve 2017 in Brookline, MA.
On their first date , Raj & Natasha were both enchanted with each other....and from then on they were inseparable.
At the time, Raj was finishing his MBA at Carnegie Mellon, and Natasha was finishing her law degree in Boston, so they dated long distance for three months.
When Raj finished his MBA he moved back to Boston to start work and to be closer to his parents and....Natasha!
Natasha & Raj met each other's families and friends quickly and got the "green light" or "head nod" they needed to really fall in love...
Raj made an amazing impression on Natasha's friends - as her friends could tell - he was as outgoing, as charismatic, and as fun as she was :)
Even better - Raj and Natasha were both nicknamed Spicy in college and grad school!
Raj's friends knew Natasha was the one, because Raj had never been on time to so many events in his life!
After Natasha passed the bar and became a licensed attorney, Raj knew it was the right time to start thinking about the BIG question....
On December 23rd, 2018, Raj proposed to Natasha at the Taj Mahal in India. The mist and morning dew only made the proposal more magical. Natasha and Raj were more than excited to get engaged to their best friends, and soulmates.
On July 6th, 2019, Natasha & Raj celebrated their engagement with their friends and family in Cape Cod, MA.

During covid, and due to the postponement of our wedding we moved back to Boston! Little did we know it would lead us to buying our first house together!
