The wedding is at Yordei Hasira Event Hall, the entrance is located HERE on the boardwalk and the actual address of the event hall can be found HERE.

If you are taking a taxi: Type in “YORDEI HASIRA” at Kaf Gimel Yordei ha-sira street. You will be dropped off at the back of the building and will need to walk towards the water to get to the hall entrance.

If you are walking / scooting: use this PIN to direct you to the entrance of the venue. You can scoot and walk along the beach / water to the venue.

About the Ceremony

Reception starts 7:30 PM

Chupa / Ceremony starts 8:30 PM

The ceremony will take place at Yordei Hasira event hall on the bustling Tel Aviv port. Not only does this venue have ocean views and a kitchen run by Chef Aviv Moshe, it is also a few steps away from where we had our first date!

We kindly ask that you RSVP before April 1st.

Dress Code

What to wear?

Dress code is casual or cocktail.

Dress in Tel Aviv is casual and weddings are no exception. Gentlemen, if you think you’re going to wear a tie, think again. Some may dress to the nines for an Israeli wedding, but it’s also totally cool to dress in, well, whatever you want. It’s not uncommon to see one person in a cocktail dress with heels, and another in shorts and flip-flops.

Please see the picture of us at a wedding as a reference.

Kedma Mamilla
Jerusalem, Israel

How to Get to the Venue

The Henna is in “Kedma Mamilla” Event hall at the 2nd floor of Mamilla mall, the official address is: Yitzhak Kariv St 6, Jerusalem, but this address is a bit misleading if you are walking or taking a taxi...

If you are walking: Please this PIN marks the entrance of the event hall on Yafo street.

If you are taking a taxi: In your Gett app type in “Yaffo Gate/Yafo, Jerusalem” (it’s a bus station) and the drop off location should be very close to this PIN. If this does not work try “Yafo St 3” please make sure it’s the correct yafo street and that it’s close to this PIN.

If you are driving: Park in the Mamilla Parking Lot gmaps linked HERE. From there go to the 2nd floor of the mall to the event hall.

Travel Tips
Travel Tips
Booking Your Flight

Where are you flying to: You will be flying into TLV Ben Gurion Airport.

When to arrive / depart: We recommend that you stay at least a few days before and after the ceremony. This will also allow you to explore all Tel Aviv has to offer and other parts of Israel! And remember, weekends in Israel are Friday and Saturday, so the city is very lively Thursday nights!

When to book your tickets: At least a couple months before your trip. Flights to Tel Aviv can get pricey, but starting your search early could help you land some sweet deals. Also, extended layovers in major cities such as Istanbul, Madrid, Rome, etc. could further reduce airfare.

Apps to Download Before Your Trip

Apps to Get Before Your Trip

Gett Taxi: Basically Uber for taxis. There is no Uber in Israel. You can use the Uber app for taxis as well.

Lime, Bird, or Wind Scooters: There are tons of scooters and drop off / pick up locations throughout Tel Aviv. Scooters are a great way to get around and explore.

Israel Railways: Best for train travel. You can plan and pay for your train pass ahead of your journey.

Waze: If you are planning on renting a car, waze is the most commonly used navigation app.

Traveling From The Airport to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv

Traveling From The Airport to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv

You can take the train or the taxi to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.

Taxi: The official taxi line can be found outside the Arrivals Hall, usually by terminal 3 and 1 on the ground floor (see image below). Taxis should be lined up with a dispatcher to assist you. Do not take taxis that are not in this line as you may get ripped off. The line is usually very quick, just let the dispatcher know which city you are headed (Jerusalem or Tel Aviv). Although some taxis take credit cards, it's best to have cash so either exchange some at the currency exchange desk in the departure terminal at Ben Gurion when you land or withdraw from the ATM near the exit of the terminal. And remember, there is no need to tip taxi drivers in Israel. Just pay the rate shown on the meter.

Estimated Fares (may vary depending on # of people and bags and time of day/year):
Airport to Tel Aviv can cost between 110-190 shekels
Airport to Jerusalem can cost between 280-360 shekels

Train: The train is probably the best budget option. Please note that the train does not operate on Shabbat (Friday Evening - Saturday Night) and Jewish holidays but on all other days it runs day and night. Please check the train schedules using this link or the Israel Railways app. The train station is located at the lower level of Ben Gurion's Terminal 3.

Train to Jerusalem: The station you need to get off at in Jerusalem is called Yitzhak Navon. It should take you 30 minutes to get from the airport to Yitzhak Navon station. When you get to Yizthak Navon, take the elevators up to the top floor, the escalators take forever. You may take a taxi from the Yitzhak Navon Station to your accommodation in Jerusalem. You may order and pay for a taxi using the app “Gett.”

Train to Tel Aviv: The stations you can get off at are Tel Aviv - HaShalom (Central Tel Aviv) and Tel Aviv - Savidor Center (Central Tel Aviv). You may take a taxi from the TLV Stations to your accommodations. You may order and pay for a taxi using the app “Gett.”

Commuting between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv

There are many ways to travel between the two cities. Our preferred method is the train (avoid traffic and budget friendly).

Train: Take the train from the “Yizthak Navon” Jerusalem station to either Tel Aviv - HaShalom (Central Tel Aviv) and Tel Aviv - Savidor Center (Central Tel Aviv) TLV stations. Please check the train schedules using this link or the Israel Railways app. The train between the two cities is about 30 min.
Taxi: You may order a taxi to take you to either city. Estimated cost is about 250 NIS. Please be aware that there is severe traffic during rush hour Sun - Thurs 7 AM - 9 AM and 4 PM - 7 PM.
Rent a Car: You can find many one way car rental options online. Again, please be aware that there is severe traffic during rush hour Sun - Thurs 7 AM - 9 AM and 4 PM - 7 PM.

Schedule

The wedding party will be staying in Tel Aviv / Jerusalem the following nights:

June 17 - 18: Jerusalem

June 19 - 24: Tel Aviv

Note - You do not need to follow this schedule. Keep in mind that Jerusalem is ~ 1h from Tel Aviv by train or car.

Where to stay (Tel Aviv)

Areas marked in blue are recommended areas that are near the wedding venue. Areas marked in purple are also great spots to stay but are a bit further from the ceremony's location. Tel Aviv is a relatively small city, especially if you're commuting via electric scooter, so you really can't go wrong here!

D&N TLV Tip - Closer to the beach, the better! You'll be in Tel Aviv in the summer months, so there's tons of activities near the TLV promenade (aka the "tayelet") and beach!

Hotel Options (Tel Aviv)

The wedding party will be staying at the Carlton Hotel and the Sheraton Hotel.

Other hotel recommendations include:

The David Kempinski Tel Aviv $$$$

    Soho House Jaffa $$$

    Mayer House $$

    Fabric Hotel $$

Hotel or Airbnb? (Tel Aviv)

For the best deals, we recommend booking an Airbnb in one of the highlighted neighbourhoods above. You can find fairly priced Airbnbs, especially if you book early or decide to share a space with other guests.

Where to stay? (Jerusalem)

The Old City of Jerusalem or the Mamilla area are the best places to stay if you want to be minutes away from the most popular sites and the Hina / Henna Party venue.

Hotel Options (Jerusalem)

The wedding party will be staying at the David Citadel for for the day leading up to the Hina.

Other Hotel Options Include:
