You can Uber, Lyft or take a cab from the Aspen airport to your hotel. However, Uber and Lyft is limited.
Most hotels will provide a shuttle to pick you up from the airport and take you around Aspen so be sure to check with your hotel on their shuttle services.

Hiking:
Crater Lake / Maroon Bells (moderate) - This 3.6 mile round-trip hike has some of the most stunning views of Maroon Bells and one of the most sought after places for beautiful pictures. It's a moderate hike but worth every step of the way to the lake!
The Ute (difficult) - The Ute Trail is a steady uphill hike with switchbacks, and 1,000 vertical feet to a rock outcropping. The view of Aspen from the rock outcropping is spectacular. 2 miles round trip.
Smuggler (easy to moderate) - One of the most popular recreation areas in the immediate Aspen vicinity. Smuggler Mountain Road is busy with people hiking, running, mountain biking or walking their dogs – beautiful views! 3 miles round trip.
Other Activities:
Bike to Woody Creek Tavern - 6 mile bike ride from Aspen to delicious tacos and margs via the Rio Grand Trail. This is such a fun adventure - just remember you have to bike back!
