Caleb and Lucy met each other at NOVO Construction. They worked on the same project team and became friends. Back then, Friday nights consisted of bar hopping in San Francisco with their coworker friends (a 2013 favorite was Silver Cloud Karaoke Bar).
The real magic didn't happen until December. Still continuing bar outings with their coworkers, Caleb and Lucy begin to hang out more outside of work. It was towards the end of December when Caleb asked Lucy out. They had their first date on New Year's Eve 2013.
As their relationship began to grow and things got more serious, Lucy knew it was time for Caleb to meet her mom. Lucy was absolutely nervous about the two getting along... however as the day progressed, she knew it would be just fine as they ended up at Greens Sports Bar in San Francisco. There, Caleb took back his first car bomb with Mama Dinh. He had aced the first impression test!
Now it was Lucy's turn to meet Caleb's family. Caleb and Lucy flew out to Kansas City to meet some of his family members - he has a few cousins that live out there. While in Kansas City, they attended a Chiefs / Patriots football game. Caleb was sure Lucy would get along just fine as she enjoyed watching football as much as his family did. At Arrowhead Stadium, any doubt that may have come about, completely disappeared when Caleb noticed something out of the corner of his eye... Lucy was swigging back Manischewitz (kosher wine) with his cousins and uncle after the game. She too had past the first impression test.
Fast forward 5 years, Lucy and Caleb spent their 5th anniversary in Park City, Utah.
They fell in love with this quaint little city. From the gorgeous mountain backdrops, to the historical strip boasting amazing restaurants and bars, Lucy and Caleb knew they would come back here one day.
After five years of dating, Caleb proposed to Lucy at the historic Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco. He proposed in their top penthouse suite, decorating it with candles, flowers, and rose petals. After Lucy & Caleb had a special moment to themselves, Lucy's family and friends rushed out of a connecting suite giving her a second surprise that night!
Two years of being engaged and seven years of dating, Lucy and Caleb are finally tying the knot in Park City, Utah - the place that stole both their hearts!
