Flights are available to Saint Martin (airport code SXM) from all major US airports. The wedding hotel, Belmond La Samanna, is a quick 15 minute cab ride from the airport. Cabs can easily be attained on arrival to SXM without prior notice. The average cost is $25.

The welcome reception and wedding will be held at Belmond La Samanna. The hotel is located on a one-mile strip of beach, Baie Longue, on the French side of St. Martin.

St. Martin is a small island with lots of options to meet the needs of our guests. La Samanna is located in the Les Terres Basses region of French St. Martin. There are several private homes available for rent through AirBnB or Marriott Vacation Rentals in this neighborhood.

Additionally, there are some wonderful hotels across the island but please consider travel time and island traffic when booking.  Some recommended options are Sonesta Ocean Point (adults only), Sonesta Maho Beach, Divi Little Bay or the Grand Case Beach Club.

Please note, we are not holding room blocks aside from Belmond La Samanna.

St Martin has so much to do! We have shared some highlights below but please do not hesitate to ask us for more personalized recommendations.

1. Go plane spotting in Maho. Visit the Sunset Beach Bar and Grill to grab a drink and watch the planes take off and land at one of the worlds most unique airport runways. You will feel like you can touch the planes!

2. Eat your way through Grand Case. Known as the culinary capital of the Caribbean, there are a number of amazing restaurants to try along the famous restaurant row such as Spiga, Bistrot Caraibes, La Villa, La Auberge Gourmand, Le Cottage, and Ocean 82.

3. Check out the beaches. While La Samanna sits on one of the longest "Baie Longue" there are a number of excellent options around the island such as Baie Rogue, Orient Bay, Mullet Bay, Grand Case or Happy Bay. You can also take a day trip to Pinel Island via ferry or kayak to enjoy the beach and beach bars.

4. Check out the sites! You can hike to the top of Pic Paradis, spend a day at the pool on the nature reserve at Loterie Farm, ride the steepest zipline in the world The Flying Dutchman or do duty free shopping along the streets of Philipsburg.
