Veena Vasquez
Maid of Honor
Lil and Veena’s childhood friendship go way back…all the way to when they were in their mother’s wombs to be exact! Whether it was during those Pre-K school days, filipino parties, or family road trips, you’d always find those two together. Throughout the years, they’ve always been there for each other and supported each other in their endeavors, even now as distance separates them. Veena is known as a tennis superstar (second after Chapman of course), and is now a practicing hospital pharmacist in Jacksonville, FL.
Genesis Bojorquez
Bridesmaid

Gen and Lil started their friendship in 2015 at a recruitment dinner to attend Johns Hopkins nursing graduate school. It was catered glasses of red wine, cheese, and crackers that sparked genuine conversation between these two and they've been close friends since that evening. While Gen decided to begin her nursing career in San Diego, Lil followed suit and now they are co-workers. Genesis recently graduated with her PhD in nursing from the University of San Diego and is an advanced practice specialist for inpatient medicine at UC San Diego Health.

Sandy Fodor
Bridesmaid
Lilian and I first met at work at UCSD. My first impression of Lil was that she was super cute, funny, ALWAYS smiling, and incredibly smart. And well, that first impression never changed. I could always count on her to brighten up a tough day, even if it was just a silly jellyfish dance. After my move to a different unit down the hall, we now jellyfish dance at each other as our "long distance" greeting. Basically we flail our arms at each other, secretly hoping that no one is watching. When I'm not being a nurse, I enjoy spending time with my husband at Sunset Cliffs, hiking, painting, boba, and (my guilty pleasure) asian dramas.
Saya Nodera
Bridesmaid
Hiiii! My name is Saya, but people call me "papaya". Sometimes I'm a nurse, sometimes I work for non-profit called Urban Surf 4 Kids, and sometimes or actually most of the time, I hug puppies. Lilian is like my "little big" sister, somehow she's younger than me, but I look up to her in countless ways. She has been one of my biggest mentors during my new nursing career. Lil constantly inspires me to always push myself and never stop finding new opportunities to grow. I'm so happy to be part of Lil and Chapchap's special day! See you on the dance floor!
Naveen Dixit

Chapman Chan and Naveen met while they were in college at the University of California, San Diego. Chapman was a freshman and Naveen was a sophomore. Despite the age difference, they immediately became friends and lived together for a year. They also played together on the tennis team and had several fun adventures while playing away matches in Hawaii.

Colin Chang
Colin and Chapman knew each other back when they were in elementary and middle school through Otto. Then took a 17 year break before seeing each other in San Diego and being roommates for 2 years. It was quite an adventure. Colin first met Chapman and Lilian with a look of bewilderment after a long and exhausting trip. Colin is the worst tennis player at the weddign but really enjoys it!
Calvin Moffet
Chapman and Calvin have been longtime friends ever since Chappy convinced the water polo team he was cool and should be accepted into the group. From then on they have been skating, eating tacos, exploring San Diego and expanding their minds.
Daniel Nguyen
Chapman and Daniel have been tennis besties in Oxnard since the age of 14!!
Sam Ling
Sam and Chapman met when they were 14 years old, running into each other as opponents at a tennis tournament. Sam had a fan club, and Chapman didn't like that. They left the court as bitter rivals. Fast forward to Day 1 of tennis practice at UCSD. Lo and behold, Sam and Chapman ended up on the same team. Through the grind together, they found themselves hanging out outside of school, finding mini adventures with the boys to go on.
