The tea ceremony is one of the most significant events at a Chinese wedding. It's called jing cha in Chinese, literally meaning, 'to respectfully offer tea'. It incorporates a very formal introduction of the bride and groom, and expresses respect to their families.
You are free to watch Lilian & Chapman perform the tea ceremony with their elders.
Cocktail hour will continue simultaneously at the Inamori Pavilion during the Chinese Tea Ceremony that you can attend as well.
If you would like to pin money to Chapman and Lilian, please bring cash!
The money dance will be facilitated by Patricia Potestades.
What is the Filipino Money Dance?
Male guests line up in front of the bride to pin money on her dress while the women pin money on the groom. The pinning can get creative with bills pinned together as garlands, made into crowns, or streaming down their clothing.
