By Train

Train would be the easiest option for those of you travelling up from London. There are regular trains from:

• London Kings Cross to Alnmouth (3hrs 40mins). Alnmouth is a 10 minute drive to Alnwick. 

• London Kings Cross to Newcastle Central Station (3hrs). Newcastle is a 40 minute drive to Alnwick. 

Taxis should be pre-booked from the station. Please see below for a list of recommended taxis, or in the 'Plane' section below to hire a car from Newcastle airport.

By Plane

There are regular flights available from London Heathrow (LHR) to Newcastle Airport (NCL).

By Car

For those of you brave enough to drive up from the South, Alnwick is approximately a 6 hour drive from London. There is parking available at the Fishery.
