The Baraat involves the groom's family and friends making their way to the wedding venue in a grand procession. It is a uniquely colorful and vivacious part of the wedding festivities, and it symbolizes the groom's family's commitment to joining the bride's family in a joyous celebration of their union.
Witness the beautiful ceremony as Kritika and Ganesh unite.
The ceremony commences with the groom being welcomed by the bride's family at the wedding venue, followed by the exchange of garlands between the bride and groom.
Following is the Kanyadaan, when the bride's father gives her hand in marriage to the groom.
Next is the Saat phere, during which the couple takes seven vows around a sacred fire, representing their union and commitment to each other.
Finally are the Sindoor and mangalsutra: the groom applies sindoor (vermilion powder) on the bride's forehead and ties a mangalsutra (sacred necklace) around her neck, symbolizing their marriage.
Suggested attire: Festive Indian/Western Semi-Formal
