Kemi and Arinze met while in medical school in the island of Dominica back in the spring of 2017. They developed a friendship that was subsequently strengthened while supporting each other during the aftermath of category 5 Hurricane Maria at the same island in the summer/fall of 2017. This was when they realized that they cared deeply for each other.
