WHEN SHOULD I REQUEST MY PASSPORT?
If you do not already have a passport book for travel outside of the United States, please use this link to download the instruction form and application to get your passport: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
Processing a new passport takes many months, and we suggest looking into completing this task as soon as possible.
WHAT IF I DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL OR HAVE DIETARY NEEDS?
It's okay! There will be plenty of non-alcoholic beverages available, including Chai! The resort features various cuisines, including Indian, Mexican, Italian, and more, to satisfy all your dietary needs and desires. In addition, all event menus will feature vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options.
If guests have dietary restrictions, we ask that they let us know as soon as possible. These important details will help with wedding planning and any other event planning with the resort. Guests should make a note of their restrictions when they check into the resort.
WHAT IF I'M BRINGING KIDS?
They have great activities and areas tailored for kids and teens - please see The Resort tab.
To allow all our guests to celebrate without worrying about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children at any of the wedding festivities.
ADDITIONAL RESORT-SPECIFIC FAQs:
Please visit Royalton's FAQ site for additional information regarding the resort and other services provided.
Indian attire is not required for any of our events.
However, for those who would like to, below you can find some suggestions on what to wear and where to buy/rent from.
COLORS:
Red: is typically the bridal color, and you usually refrain from wearing it to the wedding ceremony. Please also try to avoid dark pinks close to a red shade.
Black: to err on the side of caution, only wear this color to the reception or an evening event.
WOMEN'S OUTFITS:
Traditional Indian outfits include lehenga choli (basically a crop top, maxi skirt with/without a long scarf/dupatta), saree, and salwar kameez/anarkali (an a-line dress).
Note: It may be uncomfortable if you do not know how to put on a saree. A lehenga choli or salwar kameez/anarkali is more comfortable and easier to wear.
MEN'S OUTFITS:
Traditional Indian outfits include kurta pyjama/pajama or sherwani.
Note: For the Sangeet/Mehndi event, male guests are invited to wear comfortable, colorful Indian outfits or semi-casual attire to the event.

SIZING & SHIPPING:
Please look closely at the sizing chart on each website. Indian sizes tend to run small most of the time, so pay close attention as returns/exchanges may be difficult (something to keep in mind: it is easier to fix something that may fit a little loose, but it is much harder to fix something too tight/small). Furthermore, look for "ready to ship" or "custom stitching" options. Do not order semi-stitched unless you have a trusted tailor who knows how to stitch Indian clothes.
Please also be aware of shipping times, especially internationally, as there have been known delays. It is best to order your items as soon as possible to ensure you receive them on time.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
