Welcome to Napa Valley! We can’t wait to share a few of our favorite places in the area. We’ve included a few of our favorite wineries, restaurants and things to do in both Napa and San Francisco. Don’t worry, we also have plenty more, just ask!

Wineries

It is strongly suggested to call ahead and make reservations for tastings, as many wineries offer tastings by reservation only. We also recommend mapping out wineries that you plan on visiting as they can often be spread several miles apart. We’ve organized our favorites below by town.

Napa / Yountville
● Pine Ridge Vineyards
● Girard Tasting Room
● Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars
● Domaine Chandon

St. Helena / Rutherford
● Rombauer Vineyards - reservations required
● Miner Family
● St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery
● Turnbull Wine Cellars

La Taqueria - best mission burrito, there will also be a wait

Other Activities

Napa Valley

Town of Yountville
The small town in Napa Valley is one of one of our favorites and offers an abundance of amazing food (Bottega, Addendum, Redd, Bouchon Bakery, and French Laundry). In addition to the food, the main street is lined with wonderful tasting rooms that you can pop into and sip on some of the best wine in the region.

Napa Wine Train
One of the most unique and memorable ways to experience Napa Valley’s scenery aboard this fully-operational, antique train. The locomotives pull vintage cars that have been refurbished to their original glory along this three-hour thirty-six mile round trip journey. The train travels between the historic town of Napa through one of the world's most famous wine valleys to the quaint village of St. Helena and back. Aboard the Wine Train you’ll also enjoy the option of a freshly prepared lunch or dinner while sipping wines from many of the wineries along the way. Or BYOB!

San Francisco

Take a ride on a trolley
Cable cars are an iconic symbol of San Francisco and offer some of the best views of the city. Pro tip, you can get on the trolley at any stop along the route, so walk up a few blocks from the turnaround and get on to avoid the lines

Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge
Another iconic landmark of San Francisco is the Golden Gate bridge. You can rent bikes outside of Fort Mason and ride along Crissy Field to the bridge. We highly recommend going across the bridge and cruising down to the town of Sausalito. There you will find amazing views of the City and a cute town full of shops and restaurants. There is even a drop-off where you can leave the rental bike and take the ferry back across the bay.
