How do we get to the venue?
Please DO NOT use "Kingston Estate" in your Sat Nav as it may try to take you down a bridleway which is not accessible by vehicles.
Please use the postcode TQ9 6AS, this will take you to a small hamlet just outside Staverton village.
Drive straight through the hamlet and on the next sharp bend you will see 2 grey stone pillars on your left next to a white cottage on the corner.
Drive through the pillars and that will bring you down the new driveway.
Where should we park?
There is plenty of parking on-site, located outside the Hayloft Barn, Jackdaws Cottage, The Barns and Overflow parking.
Is there charging for electric vehicles?
The Estate is implementing electric charging in early 2023 and this should be available in time for the wedding.
We are getting the train, what is the best station to arrive at and how far is this from the venue?
The nearest train station is Totnes Station, we would recommend booking a taxi in advance of your arrival at the train station. There is a list of taxi numbers below.
Totnes is around 4.2 miles and a 14 minute drive to the venue.
When and how do we pay for the accommodation?
If you are staying on-site then please pay us directly by March 29th 2023. We should have emailed you the account information but please feel free to reach out and we can provide this.
It says self-catering, do we need to bring any food?
All meals are provided by the venue and we will also be providing necessities (tea, coffee, milk etc) and light snacks for all the accommodation cottages/barns.
If you feel that you would like something specific then please let us know or feel free to bring it yourselves.
Do we need to bring anything else to the venue?
Towels are provided but guests may want to bring an extra towel for the hot tubs if they wish.
The estate doesn't provide toiletries. There are hairdryers, irons and ironing boards available to use.
Do you have a list of recommended taxi providers?
Yes! Please see below:
As the summer is extremely busy for taxi companies in and around Totnes, we would strongly recommend booking in advance and "buddying" up with other guests where possible.
Do the venue provide travel cots and highchairs?
Yes they do, if you require one, please request it directly with us. Please note they do not provide any bedding or mattresses due to health and safety reasons.
