Our elopement in Seychelles
On January 9, 2023 Kirsten and Jorden decided to ‘elope’ in paradise, on an archipelago consisting of 115 tropical islands in the Indian Ocean.
Mother nature has been particularly generous with the Seychelles, where ‘flying foxes’ (fruit bats dressed up like tiny dragons) rise out of the smokey clouds surrounding the islands’ steep mountains and giant boulders, sunbathe on its gorgeous beaches.
After 1.5 weeks of getting the island vibes from the tortoises, rays, spicy Takamaka rum, and the ‘coco de fesses’, Kirsten and Jorden went to ‘Félicité’, a semi-private granite island, where they got married on ‘Grand Anse’ beach.
A beach BBQ, a stunning sunset from atop the rocks, and many bubbles later, the stage was appropriately set for the honeymoon to continue…
