If you are an ounce certain you will be attending our wedding, we recommend placing your room on hold right away with the assurance that you can get a full refund if anything comes up especially with the unpredictable state our world is in right now. No deposit or upfront payment is required, and you can cancel up to 24 hours prior to your arrival with no cancelation fees or penalties using our wedding promocode.

Although we have secured a promocode for our wedding, it does guarantee that the rooms will not be sold out. These are not room blocks so they are NOT on hold. If you wait too late, the rooms may be sold out and because the resort is not booking at full capacity, rooms are filling up fast! To avoid any complications, please book your room as soon as possible. You can always cancel without penalties if anything comes up.

Jeremy and Bobbie: have booked the Excellence Club Junior Swim-up Suite. It is the adults only area of the resort. Note: the other areas (the regular area and the finest club area) are both family-friendly.

1. Arrive at the airport early – It is suggested to arrive 3-3.5 hours before an international departure. Don’t forget your passport!  2. Checked luggage must be under 50 lbs. Per bag. 3. Call your credit card company and bank a few days before we leave and let them know the dates of your trip, so they don’t freeze your cards for suspicious activity.  4. Make copies and take pictures on Your smart phone of Your driver’s license, passports, and credit cards. Leave copy with someone at home.  5. Go through your apps the day before and turn off cellular/wi-fi use for any apps you won’t be using on the trip (Yelp, Pinterest, News, Games, etc. You’d be surprised how much stuff is taking up wi-fi usage in the background!  6. When you get past immigration, Pick up your luggage and clear customs. After clearing customs, you will exit to a hall, where you will find different booths, please do not stop here, unless you are interested in a timeshare. Walk all the way to the main gate and exit outside.  7. If your flight lands early (Take full advantage of the first day!), Pack a swimsuit in your carry-on. The hotel will hold your luggage until your room is ready.  8. Download movies on your phone or tablet before your leave. You can bring an HDMI Cable, Fire Stick or Chromecast to watch these in your room at night. FYI - you can’t stream Netflix, etc. from Mexico. You can, however, set your device up with Express VPN if you don’t want to download anything before you leave. Google has a ton of information on this! 9. When you check in make sure to go see the concierge and get your COVID test set up. Get it done on check-in day, but if you forget, make sure you get your test 72 hours before you go home.

Jeremy and Bobbie: will be arriving at the resort on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 before noon and leaving for our mini-moon Tuesday May 24, 2022.

Please book the flight that works with your schedule. We highly suggest flying in on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 or Wednesday, May 18, 2022. A friendly reminder that the WEDDING is on THURSDAY, MAY 19, 2022. You can book a return flight Friday, May 20, 2022 or a later date. If you would like to stay and join us on the catamaran adventure cruise, we will be doing this activity on Friday, May 20, 2022. Please let us know if you are interested.

WORDS OF ADVICE
Fly the red-eye for more time at the resort! If you arrive before check-in time, you can use all the amenities (pool, restaurants, activities etc.). Pack a small bag with swimwear and other necessities to utilize the resort while you wait for your room to be ready.

Please give yourself at least 24-36 hrs before the wedding day to arrive in case of delays or cancellations!

1. Mobile Passport – On your flight home, you can use this app to fill in your passport info and customs questions (the paid version will store your passport info, so you don’t have to enter it each time). Select your arrival airport, take a selfie, and answer a series of questions. It will give you a QR code that will be valid for 4 hours. Take that and your passport to the express line labeled “MPC” or “Mobile Passport Control”. A CBP officer will scan you code and you should be good to go!

2. VeriFLY – A secure health passport app that makes it easier to manage your required travel tasks. Upload negative COVID-19 test results and forms to get verified status for travel. From there you can get your boarding pass online and streamline airport check-in. Recommended by America Airlines. Check your airline to see if they recommend something else.

3. The Excellence Collection – A great resource to view the Restaurants open hours, kids club schedule, entertainment schedules, menus, dress codes, hours, spa menus, daily activities, and yes, a pillow menu!

4. WhatsApp – This is a free WI-FI text messaging service. Once you board the plane, turn your phone to WI-FI only (turn off cellular so you won’t incur cellular roaming charges). The resort has free Wi-fi everywhere and with this app you can Call/text for free over the resort WI-FI.

Yes! There is a dress code for all restaurants, with the strictest being at dinner time.

More Importantly: Men are required to wear pants, closed toe shoes and collared shirts for dinner (jeans and polo shirts are okay). 

Remember your stay is all-inclusive along with all meals and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Chichen Itza and Tulum Ruins are also two gorgeous sites to see! Please keep in mind that they are each a 3 hour drive one way (opposite directions) from the hotel. I have been following the FANS of Finest Facebook page for quite some time now trying to learn the ins and outs of the resort. So here you go and I hope it helps!  1. When checking in, if you have a preferred time for housekeeping and turn down service, let them know and they will note it. We usually say between 9-12 for housekeeping and 7:30-9 for turn-down. This way if we want to come back to the room and chill, it is already done  2. Once you get settled into your room, send me a text via WhatsApp so know you have arrived! 3. 15% off spa services if you book before you arrive. You can find the spa menu on their website or email them - onespa@finestresorts.com  4. People have mentioned the shower floors being slick. Most people just put a towel down in the shower, but some have brought a cheap bathmat and left it there. Up to you, just don’t want anyone to have to make a trip to el hospital.  5. The shower is full glass and the bathroom door is frosted. If you have any privacy issues, some guests bring command hooks and a sheet to put up or a cheap shower curtain with hooks. If not, when someone needs to use the bathroom, they can just close their eyes and look down.  6. Apparently, there is a motion sensor that turns on the bathroom light. If this bothers you, a little tape over it will do the job. 7. There are no door handles on the outside of your balcony door. If you find it difficult to slide the door open with your hands, you can shut a towel in the door and use that to pull it open. You won’t want to leave the door open because of the humidity.  8. There is a service box in your closet that can be accessed from the hallway. You can set up a standing order of coffee, croissants, fruit, etc. to be delivered at a certain time every morning. They will deliver it without disturbing you & you can grab it when you’re ready.  9. You can bring your own float to use in the ocean. The water sports guys will blow it up for you. 10. Lock everything in the safe in your closet. Money, passports, sunglasses etc. If there are any issues with your safe, immediately call the front desk to come fix it. This is a good rule of thumb at any hotel. Many people on the Fans of Finest Facebook page have stated they have never had any issues with theft, but better safe than sorry.  11. When ordering a drink, specify the brand of alcohol you want. In your room, you have 4 fully sealed bottles of wine/liquor. The resort will have other liquor selections. If you are in the club room, everything in the list marked with “cambio s/cobro” can be changed out without charge.
