He was the groomsman, never the groom. She was the hopeless romantic and home body. They met one glorious summer afternoon in 2018...at work, how generic. However, what began as a friendship between colleagues soon blossomed into a romance, to HR's despair.
After an eternity of what Jenny didn't know were dates, Matt finally caught her eye with his bad dad jokes, endless stream of movie quotes, and beautiful red hair. Their conversations ranged from talking about work to the character development in Breaking Bad. From there it was history. Their relationship was built on love, trust and too many Spotted Cows.
Friends were met, families were acquainted, and on a chilly February evening under a twinkling gazebo, Matt got down on one knee and made it official.
As the COVID-19 pandemic spread throughout the nation, Matt and Jenny made the difficult decision to postpone the celebration initially planned. However, sometimes love just can't wait. Even though they had wished you all could've been there, the happy couple decided to tie the knot in an intimate backyard ceremony on May 30, 2021.
Now, after nearly two years since the engagement, it is finally time to come together! Please join us in celebrating the happy marriage and growing family of Jenny and Matthew Weyenberg on July 9, 2022. We can't wait to see you!
