We met at a family picnic. No, it’s not what you think...
It was the summer of 2014 and both of our families attended the Alabama Reunion picnic at Butterfield Park District.
I was taking pictures of each family in attendance, when Jemari asked his dad who I was. His father replied, "that is Darlene’s daughter, Diane".
Jemari replied, "We are not kin to them, right?"
His dad said, “NO”.
Jemari continued to inquire about me by asking several people at the picnic, my sister Nikki being one of the few. To no prevail, his cousin Barbara (Worm) reached out to me via Facebook and soon thereafter; I received a friend request from him.
We had no idea we stayed in the same town and we exchanged information and soon, two unfamiliar people became friends."

Our first NFL game together was one of the most memorable days of my life.
Jemari planned a special birthday trip to North Carolina to see my favorite NFL team, the Carolina Panthers play the Houston Texans.
During the game he surprised me with a SPECIAL BIRTHDAY WISH on the jumbotron. That wasn't the end of my surprises...he arranged for me to meet the players after the game.
It was our first year dating and this birthday trip was definitely the highlight of my year!
Diane made reservations for us to have dinner at Steak 48 for my birthday but I asked her since we had time to spare if she wanted to go to Willis Tower beforehand.
She agreed and while we were at the top taking pictures, I asked a passerby to take a picture of us.
Diane went to put her purse down and when she turned around I was on bended knee and I asked her to be my wife.
SHE SAID YES!!!!!
After dinner we met our family at her parents house to celebrate!

We enjoy our time together and enjoy it well ... all while capturing these memorable moments in photo and videos.
You can find us attending live music concerts and shows, working out together at our gym, and watching and playing football.
Jemari owns a Harley Davidson motorcycle that we ride often. We absolutely love those rides.
We also love traveling and exploring new places, relaxing in comfort with a great cigar and of course, spending time with our fabulous family and friends.
