Things to Do

Bourbon Streetwww.neworleans.com/plan/streets/bourbon-street/

Bourbon Street embodies the life of a party town! The street is lit by neon lights, throbbing with music and decorated by beads and balconies. It's a must visit!

Frenchman Street - www.neworleans.com/plan/streets/frenchmen-street/

More of a non-touristy location, Frenchman Street houses countless live music venues. Grab some friends and dance the night away through the bars in this artsy part of town!

The Carousel Bar & Lounge at Hotel Monteleone - www.hotelmonteleone.com/entertainment/carousel-bar/

The Carousel Bar & Lounge is our favorite bar in New Orleans. Frequent stomping grounds to some of greatest literary such as Ernest Hemingway, William Faulkner, Truman Capote, and Tennessee Williams, the Carousel Bar features a revolving bar on the first floor of the Hotel Monteleone. This is a great spot for a casual Pimm's Cup or Old Fashioned.

The National WWII Museumwww.nationalww2museum.org/

The National WWII Museum features immersive exhibits, multimedia experiences, and an expansive collection of artifacts and first-person oral histories, taking visitors inside the story of the war that changed the world. Plan to spend a good deal of time here - this is one of the best museums we have visited.

Audubon Aquarium of the America - www.audubonnatureinstitute.org/aquarium

The New Orleans Aquarium features so many attractions such as sea turtles, penguins, sharks, rays, and so much more. This is a great place to take the kids or if the Nola heat is too much!

Shops of the Colonnade - French Market - www.frenchmarket.org/shopping/colonnade-shops/

The French Market has become a cultural, commercial and entertainment treasure within the city. America's oldest public market features numerous, authentic shops containing everything a visitor would want.
