For those who don't know the full story, Philip and Alexa first met in 2012.
Philip actually showed up on Alexa's doorstep after being invited to her house by mutual friends.
Things started off shaky - Alexa was not thrilled Philip was there as she had just moved back to Philadelphia into her parents place, and her friends had a tendency to turn small gatherings into giant parties.
But, things quickly changed as the two formed a friendship, spending almost every weekend together taking trips up to NYC to see their friends.
Philip and Alexa started dating in 2013, as Philip was working at Xyntek and Alexa was running her own business.
As they discovered their shared love of travel, Philip took Alexa with him on work trips around the world including taking Alexa back to her favorite place, Amsterdam, where she studied abroad in college.
Philip and Alexa's love of adventure has grown over the years, as has their love for each other, and this has led them to discover new sides of themselves within their relationship.
Together they have found ways to push their boundaries, knowing that they can rely on each other for support and laughter along the way.
Philip and Alexa compliment each other in their similarities and in their differences.

After 8 years together, Philip asked Alexa to marry him 30,000 feet up in the air, on a flight from Philadelphia to San Francisco on New Years Eve 2019.
Alexa said Yes, and now we're here :)
