Before Entering The Island
There are nine eateries on Fripp. However, there are no grocery stores. So, if you’d like to save a buck or two you may want to stock up on your favorite snacks, meals, and beverages before entering the island.  Here is a list of nearby grocery stores:

Packing for Fripp Island is easy! It is a very informal and relaxed environment where the saying “no shoes, no shirt, no problems” really applies. Outside of wedding attire, here is a list of items we recommend including in your bags:

-->Bathing Suits

While On The Island
Fripp Island is a great place to ditch the car and be more creative with how you get around. While on the Island, the most common means of transportation are golf carts and bikes. With that being said, please remember:

-->Obey the posted speed limits.
 -->Only properly licensed drivers may operate a motor vehicle on any Island road. 
-->Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the beach and/or bike path. 
-->Walkers, bikers, skaters, and non-motorized vehicles must use the bike path where they are provided. 
-->Obey all posted no parking signs and designated fire lanes. 
-->No parking in a fire lane. 

*Citations regarding misuse of golf cart/bicycles will result in fines from $5.00 to $400.00.

Fripp Island is designated as a Wildlife Sanctuary. It is an excellent place to view many different types of wildlife up close and personal. However it is very important to protect the wildlife and yourself. With that being said, please remember:
-->DO NOT feed the deer. 
-->DO NOT feed or harass the alligators as this may cause their removal and/or death. 
-->Obey ALL turtle protection rules.
