If you learn one word, make it this one. Shalom literally means peace, hello and goodbye, and is used for plenty more things in between.
Sababa:This is your basic “cool,” “great,” “alright.” Want to go to the beach? Sababa. Want to ride bikes? Sababa.
Beseder:This is a way to say, "Ok" and “let’s do this.”
Ken & Lo:Yes & no.
Ma nishmá:

Ech holech:How’s it going?
Toda (also Toda Raba):Thanks and “Thanks a lot!”
Be te’avon:Hebrew for Bon Apetit!
L’chaim:The toast/cheers when you clink beer glasses, it translates “to life!”
Bevakasha:The Hebrew word for please.
Slicha:It’s Hebrew for excuse me or sorry!
Tov:When something goes well, say tov—it’s Hebrew for “good” and has plenty of uses in everyday conversations.
Boker tov — Good morning
Laila tov — Good evening
Mazel tov — Good fortune (literally) but you’ll know it as a congratulatory phrase.
Lehitra’ot:See you / bye. As in adios amigo!
Nachon:Nachon has plenty of uses. It could translate as “right” or “correct”, but in a friendly, casual way.
