What airport should guests fly into?
All guests should fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN) located in Cancun, Quintana Roo.


When should guests arrive/depart?
We recommend that guests arrive on Thursday and depart either Sunday or Monday. Guests are welcome to extend their trip to explore and enjoy Cancun.


What will the weather be like during that time?
Come ready for some sun! The temperature varies in May and is typically 85 degrees. There are very low chances of rain.


Are there any additional health and safety protocols?
Yes, the CDC currently has an order requiring all air passengers arriving to the USA from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs. Passengers must present the negative Covid-19 result to the airline before boarding the flight back to the US.  As part of Omni's heath and safety measures, they will be offering free Covid-19 tests at the resort for adults.

Existing Reservations

What is the status of my existing reservation? 

All existing reservations have been transferred to May 2021. The check-in date has been automatically transferred to Thursday, May 20th and your new reservation is for the same number of nights that you originally reserved.


How can guests revise their check-in date, check-out date and/or length of stay?

Any revisions to your existing reservation can be made by directly emailing Omni Cancun at weddings@omnicancun.com.mx and copying reservations@omnicancun.com.mx

The subject line should read "Erika & Eduardo May 2021 Wedding". In the body of the e-mail, please list any changes that should be made to your reservation.  

Modifications cannot be made online. Any changes must be made by March 19, 2021.


What if I can no longer attend and need to cancel my existing reservation?

We understand if you are unable to attend. You can cancel your reservation by emailing Omni Cancun. Please use the email addresses listed above. All cancellations must be made by March 19, 2021.


If I cancel, will my deposit be refunded?

Yes, your original deposit of $250 will be refunded as long as you cancel by March 19, 2021.


Do guests have to RSVP again?
Yes, please RSVP again. When RSVPing "Yes", you will also be asked to select your meal choice. 

Hotel/ Room Block

Do guests have to use your room block to come to the wedding?
We HIGHLY recommend that ALL guests stay at Omni Hotel.


What happens if guests do not book at the Omni?
On the day of the wedding, each guest will be required to pay for a "guest pass" in order to attend the wedding. Omni will charge each guest $125 to enter the resort on the day of the wedding.


What happens if we book at Omni, but not through your room block?
Guests will be subject to a fee. Each guest will be subject to a one time charge of $65.


Can more than 2 people stay in a room?
Yes, however the room rate of $250 covers the stay for 2 people. Any additional parties staying in the room must pay $125 per night to cover their all-inclusive package.  

Wedding Information

Are all wedding events located at Omni Cancun?
Yes! The ceremony will begin at 5:00 P.M. The cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow the ceremony.


Is your wedding an unplugged ceremony?
An unplugged ceremony is when guests are asked to turn off their cell phone and photo devices during the ceremony.
Yes, we please ask that guests do not take pictures during the ceremony. The officiant will announce when pictures are allowed so you can take pictures. Guests can take pictures throughout cocktail hour and the reception.


What is the dress code?

The dress code is beach formal/cocktail attire. No shorts or flip-flops are allowed. We will be on the terrace overlooking the beach, not directly on the beach.
