Traveling to Hope Town, Abaco, The Bahamas
Hope Town is the main village on the island of Elbow Cay. The easiest way to get to Hope Town is to fly into Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH).

Atlanta through Delta Airlines
Major cities of Florida and Nassau can often serve as the connection hubs to Marsh Harbour. In the past, we have booked flights to some of these cities via major travel sites (such as Kayak.com) and booked the flight to our final destination of MHH using a smaller, local airlines (through their individual website). Upon arriving at MHH Airport, you can catch a taxi from the airport to Albury's Ferry Dock.

Once on the island of HOPE TOWN, we strongly suggest renting a GOLF CART. This is the primary mode of transportation around the six mile island and allows you to bounce around to different hotels, sites and bars/restaurants. Golf Carts go FAST, so BOOK NOW!

One of the best way to explore the Abaco Islands is by BOAT! We have loved renting a boat for our stays and jumping from island to island to snorkle, make a trip to Nippers or go see the swimming pigs!
Rental Boats can be picked up in Marsh Harbour (and often can be used as transportation from the island to Hope Town in lieu of the ferry). Please check with your rental location or hotel as many have boat slips available.
You can also book a day trip with a guide who can take you to the different islands/ places nearby! They’re also the most knowledgeable when it comes to island hopping! They’ll know the best spots and must-see places!
