Where to Stay
Hope Town Inn & Marina is the venue for our ceremony and reception! This location offers different accommodation options (king/queen rooms, suites, 2 and 3-bedroom villas). The villas are amazing for guests or couples to split. This is across the small waterway (located near the historic lighthouse). The hotel offers a 24-hour shuttle to get back and forth to the main part of town (shuttle takes about 3 minutes).
When booking, you will need to call the hotel directly at 242.366.0003 or 1.850.588.4855. Don't forget to mention the Finch/O'Dell wedding to get a discounted rate!
One of my favorite places to stay in Hope Town! The "Lodge" offers both hotel rooms and small villas, and is a great economic option! The Lodge, which has a pool, two restaurants, and sits on a gorgeous beach, is situated next to the main part of town. Even though this is conveniently located to town, I would still suggest renting a golf cart to allow you the freedom to visit other locations around the island (for bar hopping)!
The Abaco Inn is always a favorite of visitors to Hope Town. The bar/restaurant is a favorite for the bride and groom and is picturesque to watch a sunset (with a rum punch in hand). This will be the location for the Rehearsal Dinner on Friday. Like the Inn & Marina and the Lodge, Abaco Inn offers multiple accommodation options. While I would still suggest renting a golf cart (since this is down the road from town), the hotel does offer a free shuttle service for its guests.
It is located right next to the beach and has the perfect beach bar (On Da Beach which is Nathan's absolute favorite) located on site. It is super easy to get into town (by golf cart) from this location or to get to the other side of the island (to places like Abaco Inn or Firefly) as it sits perfectly in the middle of it all! I believe that they also provide a van shuttle to the guests.
Guests can also find rental options through Hope Town Hideaways or Elbow Cay Properties. These companies are sometimes a little more strict around minimal stay requirements or days that you need to check-in or check-out, but it is definitely worth checking it out!
FireFly is a beautiful resort! FireFly is just outside of “town.” However, don’t be deterred, this only means a 5-ish minute golf cart ride (we have stayed at a house nearby). The places are a bit nicer and often require a 7-day min. stay. There is limited selection, so I would call now or search on VRBO if interested. Pool is great, and the view is phenomenal!
