Located 69 miles (1.5-2 hours by car) from Riverside, LAX is the largest airport in the region, with nonstop flights from all major cities. Most car rental companies operate out of LAX.
Ontario Airport is located 16 miles (25 minutes by car) from Riverside, and offers flights from many major cities, although not as many as LAX. Please be aware that there are far fewer nonstop flights than LAX, and the cost may be higher. Most major car rental companies operate out of ONT.
The Downtown Riverside Transit Station offers train service in the heart of Riverside. Trains running from Union Station in Los Angeles to Riverside take about 1.5 hours to reach their destination.
